Difficult Interview Questions

There is nothing worse than dreading difficult interview questions. Who wants to look like a deer in the headlights at an important time like this?

Almost everyone walks into a job interview worried they will be asked that one darn interview question that will blow them out of the water.

No matter how well you prepare for your interview, if you don't have a good answer for a tough interview question, you risk fumbling the ball.

I thought about preparing a list of tough interview questions with sample answers like I did with my top ten interview questions. But, your definition of a difficult question and mine may be entirely different.

Submit to me your question in the form below, along with a brief explanation of your situation. I'll post it on my website, along with my recommendations. Don't be afraid to share personal details.

I encourage my visitors to also evaluate your question and submit their suggestions for you through the link provided. Maybe someone was in your shoes 2-3 years ago and came up with the perfect way to handle your specific dilemma. Peace of mind at last!

Then again, maybe you can pay it forward by helping someone else.

I have a lot of job interviewing experience, but I certainly don't have all the answers. Hearing your insights will keep me on my toes.

To stimulate your brain waves, here are 5 difficult interview questions you may be dreading. The more depth you provide to your particular situation, the better we can help you with some suggestions.

  • I was fired from my job. What do I tell tell them?
  • I have a DUI on my driving record. Can this hurt my job prospects?
  • I've been out of work for 9 months. How can I best explain this?
  • My credit rating is weak. Will prospective employers check my credit? What can I do about it?
  • I didn't see eye-to-eye with my boss. What do I say about him?

Ok...does this have you thinking about your situation and any difficult interview questions you may have?

Good. Don't be embarrassed or shy.

This is the best way to get some great advice so you will shine in your interview, and hear the words ...you're hired!
