Weird Interview Question - don't have a clue how to answer

by Elizabeth
(Lewisburg, PA)

I have an upcoming job interview with a company that I'm very excited about. A friend of mine works there and she loves her job. She told me the interview will be a group interview with a panel of about 5 people. I asked my friend if she knew what some of the questions would be. She shared with me a few of the common interview questions which I can easily prepare appropriate answers. But, then she mentioned that one of the Directors has this favorite interview question he likes to ask:

Tell me about a time when one of your strengths turned out to be a weakness.

What?! I'm kind of stumped as to how to answer this one. I would appreciate any advice anyone can share with me. I want to do well as I really need this job. Thanks!
